Barcode Scanner & Inventory app (SCANPET) offers a comprehensive solution for barcode scanning, inventory management, and WiFi scanning functionality within a single application. It is designed to assist in efficiently organizing warehouse inventory, home inventory, or business inventory, facilitating tasks such as stock-taking, managing purchase orders, and sales orders. The app features an integrated QR & barcode scanner suitable for use with or without barcodes.

SCANPET combines three distinct applications in one:

1. Barcode Scanner App: Utilizing the phone's camera, it rapidly scans and recognizes information from barcodes or QR codes, including one-dimensional and two-dimensional formats. Users can activate the flashlight for scans in low-light environments and utilize the zoom function for reading small barcodes. The app is versatile, capable of scanning various QR code and barcode formats for purposes ranging from managing book collections to controlling employee attendance.
2. Inventory App: Offering flexibility and customization, it supports inventory management and tracking functionality. Users can define unique fields for each record and establish customized workflows. The app employs the device camera to scan barcodes and retrieve item information from an Excel spreadsheet acting as a database. Inventory records can be managed, edited, and updated using personalized forms and definitions, enabling batch scanning capability and detailed stock movement tracking.
3. WiFi Terminal Scanner Feature: SCANPET functions as a WIFI Scanner (WIFI terminal), allowing direct barcode scanning into documents on a PC via WIFI connection. This feature serves as a convenient tool for seamless data transfer between mobile devices and computers.

In addition to its core functionalities, SCANPET supports backing up inventory data to Dropbox and Google Drive, enabling data sharing among users through these platforms without the need for data import or export. The app utilizes Excel files as databases, facilitating seamless editing with Excel editors.

Supported barcode formats include UPC-A, UPC-E, EAN-8, EAN-13, Code 39, Code 93, Code 128, QR codes, ITF, Codabar, and RSS-14. SCANPET accommodates all Excel file formats from Excel 95 (xls and xlsx files).
